From Understanding the Ball to Understanding Movement Form
Many existing tennis technology tools have already developed mature capabilities across ball speed, placement, shot type, match statistics, highlight generation, training logs, and video replay.
SpatialForm respects these established directions. They help people better understand ball trajectory, rally flow, and match outcomes. SpatialForm focuses on another layer that still needs clearer expression: how the athlete prepares, moves, rotates, maintains balance, and ultimately completes the stroke in ordinary phone sports video.
What Is Performance Form
Performance Form is the visible structure of how an athlete organizes movement under real performance conditions, including readiness, timing, balance, recovery, repeatability and preparation for the next action.
Performance Form is the core user-facing product layer of SpatialForm. It is not a score and not a generic feedback layer.
Performance Form expresses how body movement is organized, unfolds, and forms athletic performance.
It is the intermediate layer between seeing movement and understanding movement form.
From 2D Video to 3D Movement Review
Phone sports video begins as a fixed-view 2D recording. Real athletic movement does not occur as a flat image; it occurs in space.
SpatialForm uses Single-Camera 3D Kinematics to support Performance Form, making movement in ordinary phone video more readable, reviewable and spatially observable.
SpatialForm is not a generic 3D modeling tool, CAD tool, 3D printing tool, architectural modeling tool, clinical diagnosis system, or replacement for professional coaching judgment.
